Students at On Track Education Barnstaple recently welcomed parents and carers into school for their termly Parents’ Afternoon, showcasing their hard work and achievements.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity for families to see first-hand the progress students have made across a range of subjects. Pupils confidently shared their learning, including Science Week artwork and personal projects, demonstrating both creativity and commitment.
A real highlight of the afternoon was a performance from the school’s BTEC Music students, who entertained the audience with a selection of covers and original songs. The performances showcased not only their musical talent but also their growing confidence, creativity and performance skills.
The event was a great success, with a positive and supportive atmosphere throughout, as students celebrated their achievements with family members and staff.
Maria Roberts, Headteacher at On Track Education Barnstaple, said:
"We are incredibly proud of our students and the confidence they showed during the Parents’ Afternoon. It was wonderful to see them sharing their work and performing in front of an audience. Events like this highlight not only their academic progress, but also their personal growth and the pride they take in their achievements."
The afternoon was a true celebration of student success, and a reminder of the strong partnerships between the school, pupils and their families.
