On Track Wisbech Celebrates Strong Ofsted Inspection Outcome

25 Mar

On Track Education Wisbech is proud to share the outcome of its latest Ofsted inspection (February 2026), which recognises the significant progress made across the school and its ability to maintain consistent high standards.

Inspectors highlighted the school’s highly inclusive environment, where pupils are supported to overcome barriers and re-engage with education. Many pupils arrive with negative experiences of school, but quickly develop confidence, resilience and a desire to learn.

The report praised pupils’ behaviour as “exemplary”, noting that they are polite, respectful and keen to learn. Strong relationships between staff and pupils were recognised as a key strength, helping young people feel safe, valued and supported.

Leaders were commended for creating a warm, welcoming environment where pupils enjoy attending school and take pride in their achievements. Improvements in attendance were observed as “notable”, with many pupils recognising the value of being in school regularly.

The school’s provision for personal development was also highlighted, with pupils benefiting from a range of experiences, from working with animals at a local farm to participating in trips and community activities that bring learning to life.

Importantly, the report confirmed that safeguarding standards are met, with inspectors recognising a strong culture in which safeguarding is embedded in everyday practice, and pupils feel safe.

Diane Woodward, School Manager at On Track Wisbech, said:

"We are incredibly proud of this report and the recognition it gives to the hard work of our staff and the progress our pupils make every day. It reflects the strong relationships, inclusive ethos and high expectations that underpin everything we do. Most importantly, it highlights the journey our pupils take, from feeling disengaged or anxious about education to becoming confident, motivated learners who are proud of their achievements."

This inspection marks an important milestone and reflects the school’s ongoing commitment to providing a safe, inclusive and high-quality education for every pupil.
