The role

This is a rewarding role focused on providing personalised support to help young people re-engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing tailored support and supervision for pupils aged 7–16, encouraging active engagement in learning and helping them work towards agreed goals and objectives
  • Planning and delivering elements of learning or intervention programmes that support pupils’ individual progress
  • Working both 1:1 and in small groups as part of a collaborative, professional team, supporting the academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development of each young person
  • Leading intervention sessions on a 1:1 basis, delivered both on-site and off-site, to address specific pupil needs and support their re-engagement with education

About you

We’re looking for someone who is empathetic, resilient, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of young people with additional needs. Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience working with children or young people and a genuine passion for supporting their development
  • A motivation to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential

£25,410 - £36,300 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
