Students and staff at On Track Silverstone are celebrating after the school was awarded two additional Thrive Awards, marking another important milestone in its journey towards becoming a Thrive Ambassador School.
The latest awards mean the school has now achieved four out of five Thrive Awards, recognising the continued commitment of staff to supporting the emotional well-being and development of every pupil.
The Thrive Approach is a research-informed programme focused on supporting children and young people’s social and emotional development. It helps schools to better understand behaviour, build positive relationships and create environments where pupils feel safe, supported and ready to learn.
At On Track Silverstone, Thrive is embedded across school life and plays a key role in helping pupils build confidence, resilience and emotional literacy. Achieving these additional awards highlights the dedication of the staff team in ensuring pupils receive the support they need to succeed both academically and personally.
Ellie Faulkner, Lead Thrive Practitioner at On Track Silverstone, said: “We are incredibly proud to receive these additional Thrive Awards and to be so close to becoming a Thrive Ambassador School. Thrive is central to the way we support our students, helping them to feel safe, understood and ready to engage with learning. It’s wonderful to see the positive impact this approach continues to have across our school community.”
The school is now one step closer to achieving the prestigious status of becoming a Thrive Ambassador School, an achievement that reflects excellence in supporting emotional well-being and positive relationships within education.
Congratulations to everyone involved in this fantastic achievement.
